Taking the first step in your orthodontic journey
When you arrive at our Abingdon, Bristol or Richlands office, you’ll be greeted warmly by our staff and introduced to some of our talented team. After giving you a short tour of your preferred office, we’ll take a few photos for our diagnostic records. We may choose to do x-rays and impressions at this time as well. Following this, Dr. Westfall will perform a thorough oral examination.
Here at Westfall Orthodontics, we’re dedicated to making sure you understand each and every step of your orthodontic journey with us. We never want you to feel as though you’re being rushed or like your questions have gone unanswered. After your exam is complete, we’ll sit down with you and discuss several topics related to your particular case. This includes:
- any oral issues you’re experiencing that orthodontics can address
- if treatment is needed immediately or if it would be better to delay it
- what treatment options we have available to correct the problem
- an estimate of how long we expect your treatment to take
- the total estimated financial investment
- any payment or financing options we have available to you
