Westfall Orthodontics is proud to offer the Bright Futures Smile Scholarship, created to support graduating high school seniors as they take the next step toward their future. This scholarship celebrates the power of a smile — how it can inspire confidence, spread kindness, and create meaningful change.
The Bright Futures Smile Scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors planning to attend a two- or four-year college or university in the upcoming academic year. There is no GPA requirement, and applicants do not need to be current or past patients of Westfall Orthodontics.
Application Requirements
To be considered, students must submit the following:
- Completed online application form
- Essay based on the prompt above (file upload)
- Brief resume highlighting achievements, community service, and extracurricular activities
- Proof of college or university acceptance or application for the upcoming fall semester

- Application Opens: January 1, 2026
- Application Deadline: April 5, 2026
- Scholarship Recipient Announced: April 10, 2026
Essay Topic
Applicants are asked to submit an essay on the following topic:
“How a Smile Has Changed My Life”
Essays should reflect positivity, kindness, or a transformative moment connected to the power of a smile.
Essay Requirements
- 500–1,000 words
- Original content
- Judged on originality, emotional impact, and clarity of expression
