Dr. Chad Westfall
Dr. Chad Westfall is a Board-Certified Orthodontist dedicated to creating beautiful, confident smiles for patients of all ages. Since opening Westfall Orthodontics in 2013, Dr. Westfall has earned a reputation for excellence by combining advanced clinical training with an artistic approach to smile design.
He completed his dental education at West Virginia University School of Dentistry, followed by a competitive residency in orthodontics, where he refined his skills in the latest technologies and treatment methods. Always pursuing mastery, Dr. Westfall completed a two-year Aesthetic Mastery Program under the world-renowned Dr. Tom Pitts and now utilizes the Pitts21® System and Smile Arc Protection (SAP) to achieve natural, youthful, and aesthetic smiles more efficiently and comfortably for his patients.
Dr. Westfall is also passionate about sharing his knowledge with colleagues across the country. As a speaker for OC Orthodontics, he lectures on aesthetic-driven orthodontic techniques, helping other orthodontists elevate their results and patient experience.
At Westfall Orthodontics, Dr. Westfall leads a team united by the mission “to give the people of Southwest Virginia and East Tennessee more reasons to smile.” Patients appreciate not only his expertise, but also the joyful, welcoming environment he has cultivated.
Outside The Office
Dr. Westfall lives in Bristol, VA, with his wife Caitlin and their two boys, Jack and William. Family time is his greatest joy, whether they’re traveling together, spending a quiet evening at home, or enjoying the outdoors.
When he’s not creating smiles, you’ll often find Dr. Westfall at the grill—perfecting recipes and sharing meals with family and friends. He also enjoys golf, traveling, and being active in the community. Through both his practice and his personal life, Dr. Westfall is committed to building connections and giving back to the region he’s proud to call home.
